An Esteemed Partnership

We are excited to announce our collaboration with BSI Sport Turf Management Company to launch an innovative project aimed at equipping young individuals with the skills needed for a career in sports turf management.

BSI Sport Turf Management, with over 20 years of expertise in maintaining, installing, and renovating athletic fields and green spaces, brings a wealth of knowledge to this partnership. Our joint effort will focus on providing comprehensive training in sports turf management, creating a pathway for passionate individuals to build fulfilling careers in this growing field.

Funding and Impact of Our Project

To realize the full potential of this project, we are seeking a three-year grant of $600,000. This funding will support curriculum development, training equipment, instructor salaries, certification fees, and outreach efforts. By investing in this initiative, you will help address the underrepresentation of African Americans in sports turf management, promote diversity and inclusion, and provide valuable career opportunities in underserved communities. Our goal is to reduce youth unemployment, enhance career prospects, and improve green space management, ultimately contributing to the overall well-being of our communities.
